Paul Young, M.D.

Dr. Paul Young is an emeritus professor of pediatrics at the University of Utah and a member of the our site Medical Advisory Board.. He received his B.A. from Duke University and his M.D. from Northwestern University School of Medicine. He completed two years of residency at Children's Memorial Hospital and then served two years in the U.S. Army at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Young completed his pediatric training in the Family Health Care Program at Boston Children's Hospital, then in 1972 he joined the faculty at the University of Vermont. In 1992, he joined the faculty at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where he remained until his retirement in 2016.
